TANAY: Bakasyunan Resort and Conference Center

Tanay, Rizal is also a nice place to go to when you want to get away from the city and the stress and just enjoy a day or a weekend not too far from the city.

I've been hearing about Bakasyunan Resort a lot since it was just a municipality away from our place so I decided to explore it.

From Manila, by private car, it can take you about 1 hour and a half.
If you're going to take the public transportation, that 1 hour and a half can take you from EDSA Crossing to Tanay only. Then an additional 15 minutes by taking the public jeepney (26 pesos as of Octber 2014) to Sampaloc from the Tanay Market where the terminal is. If you will be renting a tricycle, the rate is 150 pesos. (25 pesos for each person and a trike can accommodate 6 heads)

You will know right away that it is the resort because you will see colorful flags along the road. It's hard to miss.

Trikes are not allowed inside so you have to walk up from the gate which will take I'd say 5 minutes.

To give you an idea of the rates, we got this.
Rates as of October 2014.

The first pools you'll see.

I love this pool because it was only 5ft.

There was a great view of the mountains.

I had a good work out here. It's been awhile. Swimming is good exercise for me.

They said there was another pool near the rooms/inns but it required us to go down.

There were more people here.

There was a videoke machine and tables you can rent. Of course, it comes with the chairs too :)

Golf area.
Well, not a real one. There's me with my monopod hehehe and a giant golf ball.

Billiard tables.

Private videoke room and resto bar.

Bakasyunan Resort is also a good place for team building because of its facilities.

ATV

Basketball court.
I don't know why they giant balls here hehehe

Wall climbing

Camping

Souvenir Shop

I'd say this is a good place for a family weekend getaway and a venue for team building.
There's so much to do inside this resort.
We just went for a swim which cost us 250 pesos each.
I was just bum about bringing food inside and that we have to pay corkage.
We were hoping to have a picnic because it was sweet and we were on a budget hehehe
We ended up not eating our food and not eating at all :)

Hi.Are the foods in their resto expensive?

Ms. Salie, I'm sorry we did not check out the restaurant. There is corkage fee if you bring food. That's what I know.
